KlimbKing Mountain Expeditions Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “KlimbKing”, "the Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed Destination Management Company (DMC) and Trek Tour Operator based in Arusha, Tanzania. We specialize in high-altitude trekking expeditions on Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. We also operate memorable Gorilla mountains treks in Rwanda and Uganda destinations. Thank you for considering KlimbKing as your on-the-ground Destination Management Company (DMC) in Tanzania.

By making a booking with KlimbKing, the Partners and/or Clients acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this website.

1. Privacy Policy (GDPR & International Compliance)
KlimbKing is committed to protecting the privacy of our Partners and Clients and the end-clients.

• Data Collection
  We collect personal data (names, passport numbers, medical details, dietary restrictions) solely for the purpose of organizing the trek, securing park entry permits, and booking accommodation.
• Data Usage
  - Permits: We are legally required by the Tanzanian National Parks Authority (TANAPA) and the Kilimanjaro National Park Authority (KINAPA) to submit passport details for permit processing.
  - Medical: Medical information is shared strictly with our KlimbKing First Responder guides to ensure client safety on the mountain.
  - Marketing: Partner contact details (email/phone) are used for operational communication and to send quarterly newsletters. Partners may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• Data Sharing
  We “do not” sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your clients' data to any third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with government bodies (as required by law) or service providers (hotels, porters) necessary for the execution of the tour.
• Data Security
  We store all data on secure, password-protected servers. Credit card details are never stored; they are processed through PCI-compliant third-party gateways.
• Partner/Client Responsibility
  By sending us client data, the Partner/Client confirms that they have obtained the necessary consent from their clients to share this information with KlimbKing for the purposes of fulfilling the trekking contract.

2. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Arusha, Tanzania.
